Volunteers were shopping Monday December 12, 2005 for gifts as part of the St. Clair Township Operation Christmas Tree. Over $1,000.00 was collected by the Mooretown Flags, Old Pirates, Minor Hockey amd Minor Hockey Mums. Here Hockey Mums President Lisa Walsh and Old Pirate wife Annie Shilson collect a large assortment of Toys to be placed with food hampers. The Christmas hamper program is spearheaded by the Optimist Club of Moore.

Constable Santa Claus December 10, 2005

O.P.P. Constable Santa Claus made a guest appearance at the Corunna detachment Mock R.I.D.E. check point Saturday December 10, 2005. Casey Henderson of Sarnia and family stopped in to make a donation to Operation Christmas Tree for the 100+ families in Ward 1 of St. Clair Township. The local MADD group and the Corunna Community Policing Committee (CCpC) organized the event with a large group of volunteers and sponsors helping out.
